• Tunnel Mountain Campground is within 2.5km of downtown Banff. Food and laundry services are nearby. This large campground has three sections--Village I, Village II and Trailer Court. Village I includes 618 non-serviced sites that are open from May through October. Village II includes 188 power-only sites that are open year-round. Trailer Court offers 321 full-service sites open from May through October. Paradise Lodge and Bungalows

• Paradise Lodge and Bungalows is in the mountains about a kilometer from Lake Louise. The accommodations are named for Paradise Valley and Paradise Creek, both of which are accessible by hiking trails. Guests can choose to stay in a private cabin or a lodge suite. Cabins have been modernized since they were built in the 1930s. The lodges feature one- and two-bedroom suites, some with a kitchen and others without. Rocky Mountain Grotto

• The Rocky Mountain Grotto is a bed and breakfast 10km from Banff National Park in the town of Canmore.
