How to Burn CDs With PowerISO
- 1). Load your computer with a blank CD, then launch PowerISO from your desktop or Start menu. PowerISO begins with a blank disc image, ready for you to add files.
- 2). Add files to the compilation by dragging them from another Windows Explorer window into the open area on the right side of the PowerISO window. As you add files, a percentage bar on the bottom of the window shows how large your compilation is, and how much space remains on the disc that is inserted. If you are burning a disc from an ISO image file, skip this step.
- 3). Click the "Burn" button at the top of the screen when you are ready to burn your CD. A new window opens.
- 4). Select the radio button labeled "Image File" if you are burning a CD from an ISO image. Click the "..." button, browse to the location of the ISO file and double-click it. If you created a new disc compilation from scratch, select the radio button labeled "Current Compilation."
- 5). Make sure that the drop-down menu next to "Burning Drive" shows your CD burner, and that the drop-down menu next to "Burning Speed" shows the speed that you want to burn the disc at.
- 6). Click the "Burn" button at the bottom of the window to create the disc.
