How to Space the Feet of a Peavey Classic 50 Amp

6
    • 1). Set the Classic 50 on a level surface. Gently rock it back and forth with your hand. Tighten and adjust the feet if it seems shaky or unstable.

    • 2). Lay the Classic 50 on its side. Examine each of the feet on the bottom of the amplifier. There is one round insulated foot on each corner of the amplifier. A rubber ring sits between the bottom of the amplifier and the metal foot. Check to see that each metal foot is tight and sits snugly against the rubber ring.

    • 3). Tighten loose feet with a Phillips screwdriver. Each foot is secured to the amplifier with a Phillips screw. Take the time to loosen the screws and inspect the rubber ring. Everything should sit flush and even. If the foot or rubber ring has become loose during shipping it is possible for small amounts of debris to get between the rubber ring and the amp or the rubber ring and the metal foot. Tighten all four feet on the amplifier.

    • 4). Set the Classic 50 upright on its feet. Gently push on it with your hand. It should be firm and stable.
