The Impossibly Possible Challenges of Life

3
A client asks two questions, the first of which is: "How can we distinguish which part of life belongs to which world, the alive world or the dead?" This is ridiculously easy and impossible at once.
With the physical life comes the joy and excesses of the five senses, as well as the heartbreak and abuse.
We reach into the heavens to claim our delight and drop into the abyss of despair when it all fades or disappears.
It is the physical life that presents us with this uneven ground we walk on daily.
It is the dead life, the life in the spiritual world, that bestows on us the grace of the Divinity.
We have the capability of experiencing this grace in our alive life, but not when we are in negative judgment.
Think of the sun shining its rays, warming your skin, filling you with well-being.
Perhaps you remember a time when you felt completely safe, protected from unkind words and actions, sheltered from harm, nurtured by your loved ones.
Or remember how you felt in the glow of accomplishment.
You were hugged and cherished by those around you.
Old feelings of fault or unkindness forgotten.
Just you receiving love.
Accepting love.
Not because you are so special.
Rather, you were made to feel special.
This is the state of the unconditional love that cleanses us in the spiritual dead life.
We call this "Heaven.
" Notice that we designate this state of being as a place, perhaps because we live in time and space.
The trick is to allow yourself to align deliberately with Unconditional Love/The Divine, in spite of what is going on in the physical world.
When you are able to maintain this state of grace in your physical life, you will be living your spiritual life in your physical body.
The Angels tell me this is enlightenment.
How to get there? You must do your part first.
Allow yourself to forgive and be forgiven.
Begin by releasing negative judgment against any one physically unlike you.
Just as challenging is to release judgment against those who think unlike you, those who have completely different beliefs from you.
You will know you are in alignment with Source when your whole being is filled with loving joy for all life.
It is heaven on earth.
The second question is:"If we really understood life on 'the other side,' would we need this vision of heaven? How can we find this peace on earth?" The vision of heaven is part of the shenanigans of the mind, in my opinion.
Does that mean that heaven is not real? Is your mind real? If you imagine making love with your old heartthrob, is it real? Maybe it depends who you ask.
In your mind if you relive your childhood joy as well as the pain, does it mean is it real? Only while you are remembering it.
Your mind has created it all.
This is all part of our linear thinking of past, present, future.
What if we imagine our entire life, dead or alive? If I am understanding correctly, my client is asking if this vision of heaven has a value here on earth.
A definite yes, my angels share.
In a body, we need a picture of something beautiful, of something pure, of what it might be like to live in the arms of Love as opposed to the frequent exposure to the brutality of the human race.
We need to align with hope.
Without our personal picture of heaven firmly implanted in our minds, whether we believe it or not, we might easily resort to the terror of the news.
Which brings me to the question, again, of "Is There a Heaven?" An unequivocal "Yes!" Heaven is a state of being that aligns us with Source.
In our dead life, there is a complete knowing that we are safe, blessed, whole and accepted as is.
Even the "as if" is perfect.
In our alive life, we live in a world of contrast: fat vs.
thin, tall vs.
short, happy vs.
sad.
It is how we learn who we are and how to create joy vs.
misery.
The contrast is what propels us to change our way of living life.
It doesn't take long for most of us to figure out that what we give out is what comes back.
Living in a state of heaven is a lot smoother than living in a state of hell.
"How can we find peace on earth?" Look within.
The pundit who said, "Peace begins at home," wasn't kidding.
