Celebrity Bride Wears Discount Wedding Gown
The recent wedding of British T.
V.
star Sophie Winkleman to the son of princess Michael of Kent was attended by more than 400 celebrity and royal guests.
Lord Freddie's bride, Miss Winkleman, was said to be wearing a $7500 gown designed by the Russian couture house Roza.
The gown was made from more than 80ft of silk duchesse, 35ft of silk taffeta and included a 10ft train.
The designer, Anna-Roza Bistroff, is said to be a personal friend of Princess Michael which probably why she was able to get a substantial discount on the price.
Can you believe it, Royalty negotiate a discount when purchasing their wedding gowns even if it is for their future in-laws.
Apparently that was not the only discount the happy couple managed to get for their big day.
According to a British national newspaper the budget was in the region of $75 000 but the actual cost of the wedding would have been closer to $300 000 if it hadn't been for all the discount and freebees.
Unless your wedding is newsworthy I imagine you won't be offered many freebees but so far a discount is concerned you most certainly should look for the best value for money.
Ask for discount from every business you spend money with; you be surprised at how many will offer it to you.
Some will have payment terms attached but if you can meet them you should make the saving.
If a discount wedding gown is good enough for a royal/celebrity wedding surely you should put away any misgivings about demanding more bang for your buck.
Online stores offer a huge selection of styles, colours and sizes but most importantly prices are discounted compared to the high street.
Get your marriage off to a good start and don't break the bank by paying over the odds for you wedding gown.
Smart brides are buying online to get the same quality but for a huge discount over the high street price.
Of course there is one other advantage you will have over the high street bride; your dress will be unique, unless you choose your style in store and buy online that is.
