This cute little animal does not have habits that need to be learned.

A clicker is a small noise maker a little larger than one's thumb.

A clicking sound is made by pressing on one end of the clicker.
The result is a 'tick tock' sound which is clearly audible and is unemotional.
When you want the dog to do something, 'come' for example, you give one click and say 'come'.
When the dog responds they receive an immediate reward of something they do not get in their everyday food.
There are some rules when using a clicker.
One click only.
Repeat clicking merely confuses the issue.
An immediate reward is given.
This should be something small.
Many people use small pieces of hard cheese which dogs love.
If the dog does not respond to the click and do what is asked, simply walk away.
No response, no reward.
Clicker training dogs will give you the ability to teach your dog 'come', 'sit', or do whatever demand is given.
It is important that you be consistent.
The dog should receive one treat, fed from the palm of your hand.
