How to Convert a Camper to a Toy Hauler
- 1). Refer to legal and safety requirements. Before you can make modifications to your camper, you need to be certain that all legal and safety requirements are followed. Doing this will ensure that the job is done correctly the first time, eliminating the need to redo the work.
- 2). Draw or obtain blueprints. Before purchasing materials, you will need to check the blueprints to ensure that they are complete.
- 3). Reference your blueprints for the required materials and their amounts.
- 4). Remove all of the items that you no longer wish to have in the camper. Keep in mind that, while you will need adequate space for the items you wish to haul, if you plan to live in the toy hauler, some items should not be removed or altered.
