Wondering whether you're current casual style is on the right mark or simply curious as to whether or not you've been doing it right all along? Either way, below are a few of the essential casual mens fashion tips that are sure to give you a nudge in the right direction...
- The Fit is Everything- Thought that only your tailored suit had to be properly fitted? Well, you couldn't be more wrong because in the world of casual clothing, the right fit is everything. Whether a t-shirt, casual shirt, hoody or knitwear, ensure that your clothes are the perfect fit. Steer clear of baggy clothing and don't go down a size to emphasise the fact that you've been working out. Perfect fit counts because when something fits right, it doesn't matter what it is and where it came from, it will always look great.
- Simplicity- I've lost count of the number of times I've come across a bloke who has purchased a highly expensive t shirt that can only be worn with a specific pair of jeans. This is simply a waste as the item will often sit in a wardrobe and can only be worn a select number of times. Consider investing in simple items, whether that is a white t-shirt or a navy crew neck jumper as these will often have a far better chance of being worn often and working for several occasions. A versatile wardrobe will always work in your favour and make life a whole lot easier.
- The Gym- Off for a workout or a run? Then jogging bottoms, hoodies and general sports attire is perfectly acceptable. Off to a game? Then your sports t-shirt is definitely allowed however if you're not planning on getting anywhere near a gym and you've never actually been in a football stadium and your teams game isn't until next week then stop with the sporty gear. It's understandable that when you've finished your day at work you dont want to carry on sitting in a shirt and trousers but sporty gear when there's no sports in your life is not fashionable and doesn't look good. In fact the only guys who can get away with this are 11 year olds who have just discovered their new found love for a team so if you're a grown man, think again.
