How to Make a Playlist on Windows Media Player
- 1). Launch Windows Media Player on the computer.
- 2). Click "Switch to Library" in the top-right corner of the Player.
- 3). Click "Play" under the "Player Library" heading to open the list pane. Click "Clear List" to remove the contents of the list pane before creating the playlist.
- 4). Scroll through the details pane to find the tracks that you want to add to the new playlist. Drag each track from the details pane to the list pane to add them to the playlist. Select multiple adjacent tracks by pressing and holding "Shift" on the computer keyboard and clicking each track you want to include. Select multiple non-adjacent tracks by pressing and holding "Ctrl" on the computer keyboard and clicking each track you want to include.
- 5). Re-order the items in your playlist by selecting them and dragging them up or down the list in the list pane.
- 6). Click "Save List" at the top of the list pane. Type a memorable name for the playlist and then click "Enter." This saves the playlist.
