How to Install a Digitizer for the EnV Touch
- 1). Turn off your EnV Touch and slide the battery compartment off of the rear of the unit. Remove the battery from the compartment.
- 2). Remove the two screws in the battery compartment as well as the three screws along the side of the rear of the EnV.
- 3). Run your fingernail along the seam where the back frame meets the body of the phone and pry the back frame off of the unit.
- 4). Remove the plastic button assembly from the side of the unit.
- 5). Locate the orange LCD ribbon where it connects to the side of the motherboard and unplug it from its port.
- 6). Lift the motherboard assembly out of the phone housing and set it aside. The rear of the keyboard assembly will now be visible.
- 7). Remove the keyboard assembly and set it aside. The back of the digitizer screen will now be visible.
- 8). Remove the four screws on the back of the screen.
- 9). Remove the digitizer screen from the housing.

Fit a new digitizer screen in the housing and replace the keypad and motherboard. Plug the screen cable into the port on the motherboard and replace the back frame and screws.
