How to Make Smelly Jelly Candles
- 1). Glue the tab of your wicks to the bottom of your candle jars. Let dry.
- 2). Cut the wax into cubes for faster melting. Place the wax into the saucepan and heat on the stove at medium. When the temperature reaches 200 degrees F, maintain that temperature until the gel is smooth and melted.
- 3). Add several drops of liquid color and up to 1/4 teaspoon essential oil or candle scent to the mixture. Stir the wax to distribute the scent and color evenly.
- 4). When the wax is completely melted, pour it into the jars. You may want to use a funnel or spout to make this easier. Pour down the sides of the jars to reduce bubbles in the wax.
- 5). Let the wax cool and set; this will take several hours. Enjoy your fragrant, homemade jelly candles!
