Registering On line

• 1). Go to the U.S. Copyright Office website and click on the “Registration” tab of the menu at the top of the page, or on the “How to Register a Work” icon.
  
  
• 2). Go to the section titled Electronic Copyright office (called eCo) and click on "Log-in to eCO." Fill out the form and register as a user.
  
  
• 3). Fill out Form CO through the on line registration service with the requested information about the web page content that you wish to register and your personal information.
  
  
• 4). Attach a copy of the web page content that you are registering (you can also submit a copy on a CD-ROM).
  
  
• 5). Pay the $35 filing fee (on line registration is cheaper than hard copy registration, which costs $50).
