How to Prevent an IE7 Script Alert
- 1). Close all but one of your open Internet Explorer 7 browser windows.
- 2). In the open browser window, click "Tools" in the top menu bar, then select "Internet Options."
- 3). Click the tab labeled "Security," then press the "Custom Level" button beneath the "Security level for this zone" heading.
- 4). Scroll nearly all the way to the bottom of the menu on the following screen until you find the heading labeled "Scripting."
- 5). Under the "Active Scripting" subheading, change the setting from "Prompt" to "Enable." Perform the same change for the subheading labeled "Scripting of Java applets."
- 6). Click "OK" on each of the next two screens to confirm your changes and close the Internet Options dialog box. Script alerts will no longer appear in Internet Explorer 7.
