Application

• Complete the Application for Shengen Visa form. Do not leave any spaces blank or omit information, as both could result in the denial of the visa. Sign the form once completed. Attach all supporting documentation and submit the form in person at your closest diplomatic mission. There is a 60 Euro processing fee that must be paid when submitting the application. The form cannot be submitted more than three months before you intend to take the trip to Denmark.
  
  

Passport

• You must submit your passport along with a passport photo that is 35mm x 45mm. The passport photo should only include your face, pointed directly at the camera, and must be recent enough to still bear a close resemblance to what you look like. Recommended measurement for the size of your face in the picture is between 30 and 36 mm. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of three months past the expiration of the visa.
  
  

Documentation

• Proof must be submitted that you have sufficient funds to cover your trip and all related expenses while visiting the country, including travelling out of the country at the end of your stay. Expenses include living arrangements and food and travel while visiting. Documentation must be included to prove you intend to leave the Schengen region on the day, or before, your visa expires. You must also include valid travel documents and proof of your purpose of stay. If you have received an invitation from a Danish citizen, that constitutes proof of your purpose of stay and must be included in the application packet.
  
  

Insurance

• A minimum of 30,000 Euros of travel insurance for the entire Schengen region is required to obtain the visa. The coverage must remain valid from the time of application through the duration of the visa's validity regardless of how long you intend to stay in Denmark. The insurance coverage must include coverage for expenses required in the event you have to return for health reasons or death and medical treatment or hospitalization during your stay.
