Istanbul World Famous Tourist Place
Istanbul is most important destination around the worlds and it the second largest city in the world. There is thousands of hotel and tourist oriented place to enjoy in the city. After a hard work I decided to take some break and move out of the country, Istanbul was my natural choice as I heard a lot about its beauty and hospitality. I got my ticket booked from Dear flight.
Airport
Istanbul Ataturk airport is the main airport serving Istanbul. It is the 12th busiest airport in the world. Ataturk airport has four terminals, Terminal 1 for domestic flights, Terminal 2 for international flights, Terminal 3 for cargo flights and general Aviation Terminal. There is several way to travel between Istanbul to city centre.
Light Rail Services is a light rail service existing between Aksaray and Ataturk and it generally takes 30 - 35 minutes for travel, Airport Shuttle service is the other mode of transport in which buses run after 30 to Barkkoy. Other option includes Municipality Bus and local taxis.

Basilica Cistern
Basilica Cistern is the most romantic attraction one would love to see. This was constructed in 6th century and was forgotten for centuries. This cistern once stored with water is now fitted with light and music. The upside down Head of Medusa that form the bottom of one column proving that Byzantine builder considered it to be useless stuff.
Hagia Sophia
Hagia Sophia is a former Orthodox Church, later a mosque and now a museum. This church was dedicated to the logos the second person from Holy Trinity. Hagia Sophia is one of the greatest examples of Byzatine Architecture. Its interior is decorated with mosaics and marble pillar and depicting great value of that time. The vast interior has a complex structure. The temple was richly decorated with artistic values and this Cathedral remains the largest for 1000 years.

It is one of the most famous destinations for tourist, a home to sultan and their wives. It has green courtyards and dedicated Kiosks.
