And it is not for lack of self esteem, I am one of the most outgoing, un-shy people you will ever meet, but acne really does a number on a persons self esteem.
I tried pretty much everything under the sun, from diet restrictions to harsh drugs like Accutane.
And I will admit that for a time Accutane really did work but it only lasted about a year before I had to go back on it, and even though I didn't experience much in the way of side effects, I didn't like knowing that I was essentially poisoning my body.
