Cessna 207 For Sale
Through the years, the Cessna Aircraft Company had been producing general aviation aircrafts at a competitive rate, creating air borne vehicles to cater flight trainings, personal trips, business endeavours and other outdoor activities that require heavy duty aircrafts to travel over varied environments. It came up with a series of light aircrafts, upgrading previous models to create a more useful design. For instance, the Cessna 207, a light utility aircraft model is an upgrade of the six seater aircraft, Cessna 206. Cessna has developed and improved its utility aircrafts to suit the market demands and cater to customer needs. The Cessna 207 is a member of the family of Stationairs, Super Skylane or Skywagon as they were popularly known, together with the 205 and the 206. They were built to carry across air boundaries people and a lot of cargo famous as being bush planes.
Cessna 207 was first introduced as a prototype in May 11, 1968 with a name Skywagon with its first flight in March 1, 1969. It is an elongated version of the Cessna 206 with seven seats instead of six. It was known as the Stationair 7 in 1977 since it can sit seven people but an upgraded version, which can sit eight people, was later introduced in 1980. This version was called the Stationair 8. Both models are powered by a powerhouse engine of 300 horsepower Continental IO-520-F. The aircraft came also with a turbocharged engine of the same output. However, the turbocharged version was later upgraded, in 1977, to a 310 horsepower Continental engine. Production of the series lasted until 1984.
Cessna 207 for sale at the present days, though, may not retain the features of the original designs due to modifications especially on the change of engine from the gas type to a turbine type. However, there are still specification or performance data that the Cessna 207 for sale can be of great use. Since it is an eight seater it offers a lot of space for personal travels or group tours. Cessna 207 performance specifications, data and design information includes but not limited to the following:

Cruise Speed: 148 knots
Maximum Speed: 182 knots
