How to Texture Images in Maya
- 1). Start the Photoshop application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate and open the image you rendered out of Maya.
- 2). Select "Filter" from the menu and choose "Texture." From the options, choose "Texturizer."
- 3). Click on the "Texture" drop-down menu at the top of the dialog that appears and choose "Canvas." Click "OK" and save your work.
- 1). Start the Photoshop Elements application. In the dialog, click "Edit" to bring up the edit workspace. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate and open the image you rendered out of Maya.
- 2). Select "Filter" from the menu and choose "Artistic." From the options, choose "Crosshatch." A dialog will open.
- 3). Adjust the "Length," "Sharpness" and "Strength" until you like the preview. Click "OK" and save your work.
- 1). Start the GIMP application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate and open the image you rendered out of Maya.
- 2). Select "Filters" from the menu and choose "Artistic." From the options, choose "Clothify."
- 3). Change the "Azimuth" in the dialog to 150 and the "Elevation" to 70. Leave the other settings alone and click "OK." Save your work.
