You can have it longer if you wish but obviously that will cost more.

The smaller the car you choose the cheaper it will be although make sure you get one that is comfortable.
Please note that each firm will class cars differently so make sure you ask the class before you book.
Insurance is both complex and expensive.
Ideally your own insurance will cover the car and that would be the cheapest way of doing it.
Make sure that it covers the minimum requirements of the rental company.

You will get a long list of companies to choose from.
Remember to try a few to get a number of quotes before making a decision.
