How to Extract Water From Ear
- 1). Tilt your head so that the waterlogged ear is facing down.
- 2). Bounce gently to try to dislodge the water pocket.
- 3). Yawn to change the pressure in your ear canal to attempt to force the water out.
- 4). Gently sweep the inner ear with a cotton swab if the pocket is not deep within the ear canal. Inserting a swab deep into your ear can damage your ear drum.
- 5). Create a mixture of equal parts rubbing alcohol and vinegar.
- 6). Apply an ear dropper of the mixture to your ear with the ear facing up to evaporate the water, then return to Step 1.
- 7). Visit a doctor if the water remains.
