• The 2010 King Quad 450 is one of four models in Suzuki's line of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). Introduced in 2007, the ATV provides riders with an economical option devoid of "frills" such as a CD player, cup holder or keyless ignition. The vehicle instead provides riders with a performance-minded design that boasts several mechanical, safety and handling features.
  
  

Mechanics

• The single-cylinder, four-stroke engine includes a Quadmatic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with liquid cooling system. The transmission boasts a standard driveline, front limited slip differential, reverse operation and high/low range. The electric starter draws regular gasoline from a fuel-injector system. The engine includes a SOHC valve configuration with four valves.
  
  

Exterior

• The plastic body sits on a steel frame with front and rear bash plates. Standard construction includes exterior covers, exterior guards, and front and rear bumpers and fenders with flares. Rubber composes the standard hand grips. A non-adjustable, non-detachable one-piece seat fits one ride. The seat measures 33.9 inches tall and is composed of vinyl. The model includes small storage racks over the front and rear fenders.
  
  

Handling

• Steel 12-inch front and rear wheels, along with Maxxis AT X 25-inch front and rear tires, support the ATV's handling capability. Dual hydraulic disc brakes anchor the braking system. Front brakes measure 7.9 inches in diameter. The ATV boasts an independent double-arm front suspension with front adjustable fork pre-load. The rear independent double-arm suspension includes two rear shock absorbers and rear stabilizer bar. The ATV is steered manually.
