In this case, the FAA must receive and record a right of entry permit for special types of ingress involving this sub-lease.

    • In some cases, the owner of an aircraft or aircraft property of some type will lease the asset to another person or organization. The aircraft already falls under the purview of the FAA, and the lease is generally a private matter between the two parties, but there are some exceptions. When a lease agreement is created, it must be filed with the FAA at the closing for truth-in-leasing, or confirmation of the property and related terms.
