    Clear Cache In Mozilla Firefox

    • 1). Open Mozilla Firefox and click "Tools" and then "Options.

    • 2). Click on the "Privacy" panel.

    • 3). Select "Use custom settings for history" from the "Firefox Will" menu.

    • 4). Check the box next to "Clear history when Firefox closes."

    • 5). Click on "Settings."

    • 6). Check the box next to "Cache," and click "OK."

    Clear Cache In Internet Explorer

    • 1). Open the Internet Explorer Web browser.

    • 2). Click on the "Safety" menu in the upper right corner.

    • 3). Click "Delete Browsing History."

    • 4). Uncheck the box next to "Preserve Favorite website data."

    • 5). Check the boxes next to "Temporary Internet Files," "Cookies" and "History," and then click "Delete."

    Clear Recent Documents

    • 1). Click on the "Start" menu, and then click "Run."

    • 2). Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The Registry Editor will open.

    • 3). Find the following registry key in the left pane of the Registry Editor and click on it.
      "HKEY_Current_User \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \Policies\Explorer"

    • 4). Right click on the white space in the right pane of the Registry Editor and select "New," and then "DWORD Value."

    • 5). Type "ClearRecentDocsOnExit" under "Value Name," and then "1" under "Value Data," and then click "OK."
