Save Money on Your Disney World Vacation
The best way to plan your Disney vacation is of course firstly select the time you want to go, and then do all the planning yourself without involving the middle man and save money.
Christmas really is an exciting moment to go visit Disney, but Disney is expensive and very crowded around Christmas time! Two weeks after the day of thanksgiving is a good time to go, visitors are not too crowded and the rates are good. January and February also is a good time to visit Disney. These off peak time is the least expensive time to visit Disney.
Queue generally shorter and the weather is still pretty good. The problem is park hours is shorter, and Disney tend to perform maintenance and upgrades for their parks and resorts during this time, so it can be a bit problem.
Disney provides resorts to suit whatever budget you have and they provide the best services and facilities you can imagine. Disney gives great attention to their resort guests such as 'Extra Magic Hours' for example, where one park opened an hour earlier and closed one hour later just for their resort guests only.
They also offer free shuttle service to and from Orlando International Airport, you also have the right to unlimited use of their transportation systems. The outside hotels might also provide you a shuttle service, but you are bound by their time schedule and in some cases it might requires an additional fee.
There are 4 different levels of resorts offered by Disney: Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Vacation Club. Each has its drawbacks and its own advantages, but they all are excellent places to stay.
Value Resort: Have smaller rooms with 2 double beds, they are very well and expertly decorated and aimed for families. They have a huge swimming-pool, a food courts, but not restaurants with seating. A nice place to stay at reasonable costs.
Moderate Resort: One level higher price compared with the Values, the rooms are slightly larger, and they have more swimming pools than just one huge themed pool at Values, and there is also restaurant with seating as well as the food courts, and each of them also decorated very well. Here is also a little bit more quiet than the Values, because there are not too many children.
Deluxe Resort is on top, a luxury resort that offers most facilities than the other resorts, but certainly at a premium price as well. They offer multiple eating choices and many of them are home to a character meal. They are located around the 'Seven Seas Lagoon' which is located in front of the 'Magic Kingdom'. With its large rooms gives you the feeling that you're taken to other place when you walked into the lobby.
The Vacation Club you can only get with first come first served basis. Rather difficult to obtain but worth every penny you spend. They have their own kitchen facilities and all that might be needed to serve starting from 2 to 12 people to sleep and stay in.
