I don't like to fly.
In fact I'd say I'm terrified of it and completely hate it.
I used to love it and would fly any chance I got.
That changed when I got older.
I realized how much I love life and didn't like the idea of not being in control.
I try not to let this problem ruin my life and work hard to overcome it.
Flying is really cool and such a time saver (when done correctly).
We recently flew on Allegiant Air to Las Vegas.
They have twice a week nonstop flights from our local airport and it gave me a chance to finally see Vegas.
What a great city.
But what was also so incredible was how easy it was to get there.
By using a small local airport we were able to get free parking, have no big lines at the airport, there was only one plane to board (no chance of getting lost), and since it was nonstop there was very little chance of lost luggage and no plane switching delays.
The flights were about 2 1/2 hrs long so we had a chance to watch a movie (on our laptop, nothing inflight) and listen to music.
There are no cushy amenities so we had our own snacks, but that's ok.
The ticket prices were reasonable and they also offer amazing package deals.
Coming home was even easier.
Instead of flying into a city 2 hrs from home and paying for crazy parking costs, we were only 20 minutes from home and were to our car in 15 minutes.
Short walk to the car, short drive home, we were back in time for lunch instead of supper.
The convenience was incredible.
I hope to use them again for another trip to Las Vegas very soon.
