Matchmaker, Matchmaker Find Me My Match
Ive been waiting for a long time to meet the perfect match for me. I am a single, successful woman who is 31 years old and has never been married. Most of my friends are married and I am not even being invited to be a bridesmaid anymore, as every girl that was my peer has long since become a mother.
My friend referred a matchmaking agency to me that guaranteed the right match for every member. I was pretty skeptical at first, I mean, how can there be a perfect match for everyone? Then I started thinking that if there is supposed to be someone out there for each one of us, then why not use a matchmaking service to get the best matched results? Maybe one of these would be THE one.
So the next step was, I went to them and input all my details. They have a website too, and you can input your information online and create your own profile. However, since they are local, they do encourage a physical visit so they get to know you and you get to work more closely with them. I was asked to write a small bio about myself, what I believe in and what tickles me. I did a fine job with that, even though I am no writer. Suffice it to say that if I were a guy reading my profile, Id definitely want to date me.
Then came the waiting I kept thinking, Matchmaker Matchmaker find me a match, in simulation of the old similar sounding ditty. It didn't take long to turn up several good matches for my profile. The matchmaking service found it a little hard to find matches meeting my physical, intellectual, financial and psychological requirements, while ensuring that he was strictly catholic. I would be hard pressed to find even one person that fit all my needs in the city where I live, if I were to hit the dating circuit again.
My matchmaking service did find my ideal match. After a few days of going through possible profiles, I decided to give a call to a couple of the ones I really liked. My matches were informed of my interest and our first names were shared. Note that all identities are kept confidential until the couples decide to divulge that information. So when you go through a matchmaker, you not only get to know many things about your date beforehand, you actually know there wont be any nasty surprises in store when you finally meet up. The matchmakers do a thorough background search, you see, and people cannot hide behind false pictures, names or profiles.
