How to Use a Senco Nail Gun & Pneumatic Nailers

1
    • 1). Charge the battery or connect the nailer to the power supply. Insert a strip of nails into the back of the magazine. Make sure the trigger isn't depressed. Pull the feeder shoe back.

    • 2). Choose the method of actuation. Choose between sequential actuation and contact actuation. Contact actuation stops the drive sequence when you remove the tool's contact element from the work piece, or remove your finger from the trigger after the drive sequence is started but before the nail is driven. Sequential actuation will only drive when the depth-of drive knob is pressed in, the contact element is pressed against the work piece and the trigger is pulled.

    • 3). Press the contact element against the work piece and press the depth-of-drive button knob in to use sequential activation. Pull the trigger and drive a nail. No lights should turn on. A steady red light indicates the tool has timed out. Or, press the button on the depth-of-drive knob so it extends outward, showing the red side---the button is now out. The green light should flash. Press the Senco nail gun or pneumatic nailer's contact element against the work piece, press the trigger and drive the nail.
