Download the Software

• 1). Close down your browser and any other running programs on your computer.
  
  
• 2). Go to the Adobe downloads page to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
  
  
• 3). Click on the "Download" link. Click "Save File." Wait for the setup files to download onto your computer.
  
  
• 4). Double-click on the setup file to start the installation process.
  
  
• 5). Click on "Agree and Install Now" after you read the "Software Agreement License." The program will then install itself onto your PC.
  
  

Play the Flash File

• 1). Click on your PowerPoint file to open it. Click on the slide that has your Flash animation on it.
  
  
• 2). Go to "View" > "Toolbars" > "Control Toolbox" > "More Controls" > "Shockwave Flash Object." Drag your cursor over the slide function to draw the control.
  
  
• 3). Right-click on the "Shockwave Flash Object" and choose "Properties" > "Alphabetic" > "Movie."
  
  
• 4). Enter in the file path name of your Flash file. For example, "C\:My Documents\Flashfile.swf."
  
  
• 5). Set the "Playing property" to "True" and the "EmbedMovie" to "True." Save your changes.
