Homemade Batting Tee
- Using a saw or knife, cut the top 2 inches off the hitting end of a standard yellow wiffle ball bat. This creates a place for the baseball or softball to sit.
- Dig a small hole in the ground, deep enough to gauge the batting height of the hitting tee. For shorter people dig deeper, for taller people dig a smaller hole. Place the grip end of the stand into the ground and fill the dirt in.
- Take a 12 by 12 piece of 1-inch thick rubber, and cut a hole in the middle of it. Glue the grip end of the the bat to the middle of the hole you cut out. This method is used for surfaces where you can't dig a hole. This method is also not adjustable.
