Choosing Bad Men In Relationships - What Can You Do To Stop This Cycle?
Do you sometimes wonder if you are just destined to attract bad men to have relationships with? It can be fairly common for women to end up feeling that way, but that does not mean that it has to be that way. There are reasons why women seem to get in that cycle where every guy that they meet seems to end up being a "bad guy" and there are ways that you can work on stopping that cycle from happening.
Why does it happen?
Well, it usually happens for a mixture of reasons, but one thing that almost always seems to be constant is, your standards are just not high enough. It may be hard to take that in, but you know what? Nothing changes until you admit that you have control over whom you end up dating and if your standards are not high enough, then you are probably not going to attract the highest caliber guys that are out there. If you just work on acknowledging the fact that you have a tendency to be attracted to guys who are bad for you and some of that has to do with the fact that your standards are not high enough, you are already going to be on the right path.
Another thing that you are going to have to do if you want to stop attracting bad guys to have relationships with, is to start looking in other places to meet the men you date. They say that birds of a feather tend to flock together and that tends to be true as far as the places where you go to meet guys. So, if you keep going to the same bar or the same club and every guy that you happen to meet seems to be bad for you, you may want to change venues.
Finally, I would also suggest that you begin to work on yourself so that you are confident enough to dismiss a guy when you realize that he is not right for you. Too often, women will know that the guy that they are in a relationship with is wrong for them, he is treating them the wrong way, and yet - they don't seem to have the confidence in themselves to decide to move on and look for something better. If you are not willing to do that, to be able to ditch a guy when you realize that he is bad for you to be in a relationship with - then you are going to keep that cycle going no matter what.
