Chevrolet Releases 2016 Corvette Price
Chevrolet has just announced pricing for its full-line up of 2016 Corvettes, including the Stingray, Z06 and special C7.R Edition.
Pricing nudged up slightly for all models, though it wasn't as high as the price increase from 2014 to 2015. In comparison 2015 prices, the 2016 Corvette coupes received a $1,400 increase, while the 2016 Corvette convertible saw only an extra $400 on the tag. Chevrolet applied the same increases to both the Stingray and Z06 models.
For a second year, the Z51 Performance Package will cost $5,000. It's available on all three trim levels of the Stingray.
Keep in mind that all prices listed here are MSRP. That means that your 2016 Corvette price will start close to this number, but dealers typically also add on their own fees. Taxes, title and license costs will also bump up the price.
2016 Corvette Stingray Price
The base 2016 Corvette Stingray is labeled as the 1LT (not to be confused with the LT1 engine). Even though this is the standard trim package, it's far from plain. Chevrolet uses authentic materials throughout the cockpit, including perforated Mulan leather in three different colors for the GT seats. An 8-inch touch-screen mounted in the center console controls the car's smartphone integration, dual-zone climate settings, Bluetooth audio streaming and mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.
A flat-bottomed "D shaped" steering wheel, previously only mounted on the Z06, is also standard on all 2016 Stingrays. The Driver Model Selector, rear vision camera and 9-speaker Bose sound system are included as standard equipment.
The 2LT trim package adds (among other treats) an extra interior color to choose from, wrapping the armrests and console to match. The sound system, rearview mirrors and radio are all upgraded. Heated and ventilated seats, a memory package and a heads up display are among the additional equipment added. Corvette's all-new front curb-view camera also comes as part of the 2LT.
The 3LT package includes all 2LT upgrades and adds three additional interior colors to choose from and the seats are upgraded to perforated Napa leather. Navigation and the performance data recorder are also added.

2016 Corvette Z06 Price
The three trim levels for the Z06 are very similar to the Stingray's options. One of the few differences is that the heads-up display is included on all Z06 trim levels. For the Stingray, it's only mounted with either the 2LT or the 3LT package.

Corvette chose to honor the Corvette Racing Team with this year's special edition. Based on a 2016 Z06, the C7.R Edition is marked with specially badged wheel caps, sill plates and seats, a unique graphics package consisting of a hood stripe and the Jake Corvette Racing logo, and the visible carbon-fiber package.
Whether you select the Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat or opt for a more subtle Black exterior, the team's signature yellow is found throughout the car.
The yellow on the brake calipers glisten through the wheels, and yellow contrast stitching adds a highlight to the jet black seats, steering wheel and the shifter handle.
Corvette says it will build only 650 of these (in a nod to the Z06 model's rated horsepower), but it won't say how much they cost.Instead, Chevrolet recommends talking with your dealer if you're interested in a Z06 C7.R Edition. Chevrolet will create 500 for the U.S., and the remaining C7.R models will be exported.
