How To Make a CD Bootable
- 1). Copy the contents of the CD onto the computer's hard disk drive. (Other options include connecting an external CD/DVD drive loaded with the CD to your computer, or burning the data on the CD to an external hard drive and then connecting it to your computer.)
- 2). Open Nero Express and then go to the "Recorder" drop-down menu and select your recording device.
- 3). Insert a blank CD into your internal or external CD recording device.
- 4). Point to "Data," then select "Data Bootable Disc."
- 5). Click "Add" and then go to the drive and highlight the copy of the contents of the CD. Press "Finished" and then press "Next".
- 6). Choose the option "Use Standard Boot Image," then select "Boot Locale" and scroll using the down arrow to select the language format. When finished, press "Next."
- 7). Type a name for your disc and then choose the writing speed and copy quantity. Check "Verify Data on Disk After Burning" and then press "Burn".

Click "OK" to close the prompt for "Data Verification Completed Successfully." - 9). Preserve a copy of the detail log (as a .TXT file) by pressing "Save." Type a short, descriptive name for the file and then press "Next."
