We had one beautiful kitty, we saw at The Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh, who when being held her meow was "mum". Well let me say that it just melted my wife's heart. Unfortunately she had an underlining heart condition and passed away of just being 2 and a half years old.

It was Christmas time 2 years ago and we were going to a movie. We passed a PetCo, that had rescue kitty's from The Animal Rescue League.

We saw this beautiful Black/White/ calico, little girl named Billy Jean. We held her, played with her, and listened to her loud purrs. Right then and there we had to have her. Needless to say, we never did see the movie. I can't tell you how much love she gave and still gives to mend the hurt of the loss of a loved one. She doesn't meow "mum", she has a cute squeak as a meow.

I can't believe that she was in a cage at the pet shop from Oct. through Dec. I guess she was just waiting for the perfect family and believe you me, she found it.
