• 1). Log on to the Georgia Department of Revenue website (see Resources) and scroll down to the "Where's My Refund" link and click on it.
  
  
• 2). Enter your social security number and the amount of your expected refund in dollars and cents in the provided boxes and click "Submit."
  
  
• 3). View the results of your Georgia state income tax refund.
  
  
• 4). To find out the status of your refund by telephone, call 877-423-6711. You will be prompted to push "2" for information on your personal tax information. You will then be prompted to enter your social security number and the whole dollar amount of your refund. If refund information is available, it will be provided.
