Get Back by a Private Jet
Airlines have resumed their flights over and to Europe despite the activity of the volcano but many stranded passengers still can`t get home and are stranded at foreign airports or sunny resorts.
As the schedule of the carriers was completely thrown into confusion, they are now trying to fit in the travelers who bought tickets for the exact day and those who are still waiting after flights from last week were cancelled.
The airlines and travel agencies say that it will take not less than a week to bring everyone home.
At the beginning of the week there were around 35,000 stranded travelers only from Britain, also there were tourists from other European countries stuck far from their homes.
The way to escape all of these problems and to get home faster is to book a jet charter.
Many types of jets couldn`t fly through the ash during several days (except some turbo propeller planes which were allowed to fly in some areas) and their passengers had to wait to, but they were waiting in more comfortable conditions.
They didn`t have to stay at the airport and could get all the news about their flight from the broker sitting at home.
It is much easier to coordinate the trip with a jet charter company than with the commercial airline as in the first case the passenger has to talk just with one manager not with lots of unnamed representatives of the commercial airline.
Jet charter depends on the ability of the airport to give slots to airlines and when the big airport is extremely busy (and now many of them are busy as the airlines have to launch some additional flights) it is not always easy to get a time for taking off/landing exactly when the client wants it.
But different types of planes serving the private charters can land at small airports which are less overloaded with flights.
So there is an option for solving the problem.
Scientists say that the eruptions from Eyjafjallajokull are increasing so no one can predict how it will influence the airlines during the next several weeks and if their schedule will remain stable.
