How to Convert Stereo to Mono WAV
- 1). Click "File" and "Open."
- 2). Locate the WAV file you want to convert and click "Open."
- 3). Click "Edit" and "Convert Sample Type."
- 4). Select "Mono."
- 5). Enter 50 percent for both channels.
- 6). Click "OK."
- 1). Click "Insert" and "Media File."
- 2). Locate the WAV file you want to convert and click "Open."
- 3). Right-click the WAV file track, scroll over "Item Processing" and click "Explode multichannel audio or MIDI items to new mono items."
- 1). Click "File" and "Open."
- 2). Locate the WAV file you want to convert and click "Open."
- 3). Click the downward-pointing arrow in the left track pane, scroll down and click "Split Stereo Track."
- 4). Click the "X" on the top left corner of one of the tracks.
- 5). Click the downward-pointing arrow in the left track pane of the existing track, scroll down and click "Mono."
