Here I am at aged 8, swinging over a small tributary of the Shire River in southern Malawi. Lunch was grilled fish that we had caught ourselves. And as long as we looked out for crocodiles, it was somewhat safe to swim. You can't really beat my childhood in Malawi, it was pretty amazing.
