P)resident ACORN"s Memory Loss
The Looney Tune cartoon character Foghorn Leghorn's favorite catch phrase, "That's a joke... I say, that's a joke, son," helped make him an amusing and endearing comic figure that the former Senator ACORN should consider emulating.
In case anyone has forgotten the identity of Senator ACORN, Van Helsing of Moonbattery.com has excavated from recent archives a brief video clip in which Senator Barack Hussein Obama proudly expounds on his close relationship with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, aka ACORN.
He accompanies it with a short clip in which President Barack Hussein Obama now claims in a flat out lie that he was never in bed with ACORN and only helped in its push for "Motor Voter" legislation: [http://bit.ly/ajjFAT]
Make no mistake, ACORN may have crawled back into the woodwork after being exposed as a fraud which facilitates prostitution and pedophilia and after finally being subjected to congressional scrutiny but it's really tough to kill vermin.
They also still have President ACORN, the most influential political and financial supporter of their seditious organization, in their corner.
Van Helsing quotes from Gatewaypundit.com: "One of Barack Obama's first big 'community organizer' jobs involved ACORN in 1992. He worked alongside ACORN before he became an elected official. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN in 2008 for voter registration efforts."
And, lest anyone think his affiliations with ACORN ended with his election, "In 2009 Obama promoted a top ACORN operative, Patrick Gaspard, whose oranization was fined $775,000 for election violations, to a top post in the White House. Gespard is helping shape domestic policy today."
None of ACORN's illicit activities and Obama's intimate involvement with them constitute news although little if any of that news received any traction in the Mainstream Media. It was left to vast right wing conspiratorialists such as Stanley Kurtz in National Review Online to connect Obama's ACORN dots before the election.
Kurtz' article, "Inside Obama's Acorn," [http://bit.ly/d9XPwW], more than adequately made those connections even if too few voters read, listened, and heeded the warnings in time.
All that makes the second part of Van Helsing's video most revelatory about the character of our president since he baldfacedly lies about his ACORN past and present. As Van Helsing writes, "The way our moonbat rulers lie, you would think they had no idea that video can be preserved from one day to the next."
I would have to correct him there. Those moonbats and especially the moonbat-in-chief know full well that videos are forever. They're banking on the idiocy of the American people just as they did in 2008.
Watch and weep at the entire video, then resolve to say to your kids and grandkids, "2008 was a joke... I say that was a joke son!"
