Nothing Seems to Startle Anyone Anymore
Nothing seems to amaze Americans anymore.
A selection of non-startling events:
When the editorial page editor of the so-called €Paper of Record,€ the New York Times', freely admits €We have a high threshold for whether someone lied,€ no one even blinks.
When a gang of blacks rape a 16-year-old white girl, beat her so badly that she bled from her ears and videotape their unprovoked attack, few people are incensed.
When the nation's most prolific abortion provider announces a plan to instruct teens and even pre-schoolers on how to have sex, no one seems to care.
When a noted law center which boasts that it fights hate, teaches tolerance, and seeks justice charges that the recent LAX shooter was inspired by €far-right homophobes,€ not many object.
When a raunchy, homosexual is paid $24,000 for a speech at an American university, including how-to discussions with students on gay perversions, no public uproar ensues.
When a former black congressman and a highly-acclaimed, black conservative economist and social theorist, predict that our country is on the precipice of an all-out race war, who demands an investigation into that possibility?
You would think the average American would sit up and take serious notice of what's going on in our country today. But, they're not.
Brainwashed by President Barack Hussein Obama and his dedicated henchmen in the mainstream media into believing lying is fine when it comes to shielding the president, persuaded that white girls tend to lie after being raped, convinced that Planned Parenthood is committed to planning parenthood, certain that those who differ on same-sex marriage are murderous lunatics, encouraged to permit obscene Bible-mockers to speak to their children, and convinced that a potential race war in America is merely the product of a disturbed figment of twisted, conservative minds, most Americans today opt to ignore those ugly realities rather than confront them.
Much but far from all of that ostrich syndrome is attributable to President Barack Hussein Obama's mainstream media's intentional failure to report unpleasant news or, as with the Times, accept lies as truth especially when those lies emanate from Obama's mouth.
For example, the Times' Rosenthal explained to Breitbart.com's Larry O'Connor, €We have a high threshold for whether someone lied€ because €Saying the president lied [about Obamacare] would have meant something different,€ that he intended to lie.
€We don't know that,€ added the obviously-naive and gullible Mr. Rosenthal.
What we definitely do know is that Hollywood, Florida police arrested the alleged rapist of the unidentified white girl, Jayvon Woolfork, 19, and Lanel Singleton, 18, who allegedly helped hold her down during the rape, and three other unnamed minors: a 17-year-old male, a 15-year-old female, and a 14-year-old female.
We know that Planned Parenthood announced a new Internet presence referred to as €mobile interactive tools to help teens make healthy decisions,€ tools it claims are focused on teens but which also address elementary and even preschool kids, provides graphic answers to questions that Planned Parenthood says preschoolers ask about sex, and even videos of very young children asking ridiculously mature questions on the topic of sexual activity.
We know that the Southern Poverty Law Center alleged, €Although [the Transportation Safety Administration] has not been widely singled out by Patriots, it has been subjected to criticism by far-right homophobes, among others, who have alleged that TSA agents engaging in hand searches are really sexually groping travelers.€
We know that homosexual sex advice pundit Dan Savage visited the University of Oregon on October 15th and was paid $24,000 for his discussions with students, including detailed explanations on the fine gay arts of fisting and gorilla suit fetishes, which also turned out to be a €launch party€ for the university's new smart phone app that teaches students how to have kinky sex.
We know that former congressman Alan West concurs with Dr. Thomas Sowell that, €Initial skirmishes in that race war have already begun and have in fact been going on for some years. But public officials pretend that it is not happening, and the mainstream media seldom publish it at all, except in ways that conceal what is really taking place.€
Perhaps, with all the sex, violence, and sick behavior depicted today in films and on television, Americans have become inured to it all and have chosen not to be shocked as a defense mechanism? Or, perhaps, many secretly revel in all the sex, violence, and sick behaviors?
