How to Use Your ExtraCare Card
- 1). If using the self-checkout lane, scan your CVS ExtraCare card against the bar code reader when prompted. The self-checkout device asks you to scan your member card after all items are scanned and placed in machine's scanned items area.
- 2). Enter your 10-digit phone number linked to your CVS account if you do not have your member card on you. The discount is applied to the total of your bill before the machine prompts you to pay for your items.
- 3). When not using the self-checkout option, give your card to the cashier at the checkout counter before paying for your goods to receive any discount on your items.
- 4). Enter the your membership card number located on the back of your ExtraCare card if making a purchase at CVS' online site. The site will prompt you for your ExtraCare card while you are in the payment options window. Click "Use Coupons/ExtraCare Rewards" while in your account's shopping cart to apply your earned points to your cart's purchase.
