Article Writing - Why is Article Writing the Backbone of my Internet Marketing Traffic Generation?
Article writing is one of the traffic generating techniques that at first glance seems like a lot of work.
In fact, it can be a lot of work.
I spend around 2 hours a day on article writing, but find that it is one of my most productive methods of traffic generation.
Maybe I should qualify that.
It is not necessarily the best traffic generator, per se, but I get the highest number of opt in subscribers from the articles I write.
And to me, that is what is important.
People talk about traffic generation a lot, but what is really important is what that traffic does.
I would far rather have 100 visitors per day, get 40 subscribers, and sell 10 of my books, than to get 1000 visitors that are not targeted, and therefore click out as soon as they begin to read my squeeze page.
Article writing, when I first started it, produced very slim results.
A click here and a click there.
But I found that as I wrote more articles, I received more clicks, but not in proportion to the additional articles I was writing.
Actually, many more people clicked in than would be accounted for by the additional articles.
I think that over time, people have seen my name and read my articles, and after seeing additional information from me, begin to feel comfortable enough to finally opt in.
So what does that mean for you?Perhaps you have written a few articles and have not really seen the results to justify continuing to write articles.
I challenge you to continue to write.
Set a goal of, say, 100 articles, and write until you get to that point.
I think you will be surprised at the additional response you get once you get to 100 articles.
I will say this, the additional response I have received since I have made it over 200 articles has been pretty incredible.
I am consistently over 20 new subscribers per day just from my article submissions, and some days it is closer to 30 per day.
