- 1). Select the images you want to use in your animation. You will need at least two images, but the more you have, the more fluid your animation will be.
- 2). Note the order in which you would like the images to appear. Ideally each image should represent one more step forward in movement than the one before it. It may help to think of your images as still shots from a film as you sequence them.
- 3). Visit one of the many websites that offers free animated GIF creation services, such as MakeaGIF.com. Using the numbered list of upload boxes provided, order your images how you want them to appear in the animation.
- 4). Configure options for making your animation. You will most likely want to choose to loop the animation as well as have it play at a medium speed.
- 5). Finalize your settings and create your GIF by pressing the submit button. Once your file has been created, you will be taken to a page that allows you to download and save it to your computer. From there you can upload it to almost any website that permits its users to display GIF files.
