Pali Cribs Instructions
- 1). Never use the crib if there are any missing or broken parts, bolts, nuts or screws. Contact Pali at customerservice@pali-design.com to request new parts.
- 2). Examine the crib closely to make sure no screws or bolts are loose. Tighten any that seem loose or unstable. Look to make sure there are no rough edges or corners that could result in injury. Examine the crib for loose parts on a regular basis.
- 3). Use only the drop-side rail--available on some Pali cribs--when placing the baby in the crib or taking the baby out. Pull up firmly on the drop-side rail until it clicks after every use. Never leave the child in the crib if the drop-side rail is down.
- 4). Keep all long cords, necklaces, pacifiers with ties or anything that may result in strangulation away from the crib while the baby is unsupervised.
- 5). Avoid using thick blankets, bumpers or anything that could result in suffocation in the crib.
- 6). Use a crib mattress that is 51 and 5/8 inches by 27 and ¼ inches in the crib. The mattress should not be any thicker than 6 inches. Mattresses that do not fit these specifications may result in the baby becoming trapped, injured or suffocated between the crib mattress and the crib rails.
- 7). Lower the crib mattress to the deepest position as soon as the child can stand to keep the child from falling out of the crib. A child 35 inches or more in height should be moved to a child's bed.
- 8). Never use plastic bags or other plastic material as a stain protector over the mattress, as the child can suffocate in such material.
