There is certainly an abundance of money making advice on the internet.
Many times people actually pay $97 to hear.
In my experience, which goes back to 2000 and includes every mistake a person can make, the advice from these marketers doesn't work anywhere but in the get rich quick game.
Take as an example how the gurus tell you to write a headline.
They say make some outrageous claim to get them reading further.
All they want is to get you reading their hypnotic sales copy and dream of making money.
They have no product to sell.
Only a dream of instant riches.
A promise that cannot be fulfilled.
The outrageous claim in a headline only works if you don't have to back it up with a legitimate product that delivers on the promise.
But what does it say about a legitimate product if you make a claim of something the product can't do? You lose all credibility and the reader clicks away.
They want a legitimate product that solves their problem and you are trying to sell it as miracle that can never be just because some guru told you too.
Your customers are not get rich quick marks (are they?).
If they are you can ignore everything I just said and hype away.
But if you have a legitimate product the hype don't work.
You're not selling the same thing as those advising you on how to sell.
They have nothing to market but a dream.
With that said, let me tell you quickly how to write a headline for a legitimate product.
Make your customer an offer.
Something like "Give Me 15 Minutes Of Your Time And I'll Give You ...
.
Ask the customer for few minutes and tell them in reasonable terms what they will get in return.
Direct selling with articles works quite well with a friendly offer of help in the bio box followed by another friendly offer in the headline.
All you need is another friendly offer as the title for your articles and you will see a lot more people taking you up on your offers than you would get biting on a promise you can't keep.
Once you get people reading the articles, all that is left is to get them to click to your offer.
