The Specs for a HP S3300F
- Each HP Pavillion Slimline s3300f runs on the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and uses a dual-core AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor with a processing speed of 2.6 gigahertz. Using second-generational synchronous dynamic random-access memory architecture (DDR2 SDRAM), the s3300f offers 2 gigabytes of memory. This can be upgraded to 4 GB using both of the desktop's dual in-line memory module (DIMM) slots. The motherboard is an M2N61-AR, courtesy of Asus.
- For data storage space, the HP s3300f offers a hefty 500 GB disk drive with a rotational speed of 7,200 revolutions per minute. The optical drive -- used for playing audio/video disc formats -- is a SuperMulti CD/DVD playing and recording combo with LightScribe technology, which produces laser-etched labels for the discs.
Integrated into the Asus motherboard is the Realtek ALC888S Audio driver, which supports six-channel high-definition audio. The NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 chipset, which is also integrated into the motherboard, provides the video and graphics, taking up to 256 MB of the computer's RAM. - For networking purposes, the HP Pavilion s3300f has a fax/data modem called the WinModem and a Realtek RTL8201CL Ethernet card. The WinModem offers a data transfer speed of 56 kilobits per second (Kbps), while the Ethernet card can provide up to 100 megabits of data per second (Mbps). The s3300f also has an 802.11 b/g USB adapter card for wireless connectivity with a data transfer speed of 54 Mbps.
- Available only in a fine black-and-silver finish, the HP Pavilion Slimline s3300f measures 11 inches high, 4.25 inches wide and 13.75 inches long. The desktop PC has several external interfaces that include FireWire and RJ-45 connectors for network connectivity, PS/2 connector for the computer mouse, VGA adapter for the computer monitor, three audio jacks, four USB 2.0 ports for data transfer, and coaxial S/PDIF output for digital audio. Also included was a 15-to-1 digital medial adapter for accommodating a vast array of flash memory formats and a power adapter connector for the computer's 160-watt power supply.
