How to Troubleshoot the Little John Palm OS
- 1). Download the latest stable version of the application. (See Resources.) Click on the file titled "Binaries" and select "Save" in the pop-up window that appears. Choose "Desktop," and click "Save" again.
- 2). Double-click the saved file to extract the documents contains in the file to your desktop.
- 3). Connect your Palm phone to the computer with the device's cradle. Open HotSync Manager on your computer by clicking "Start," "All Programs" "Palm" and "HotSync Manager."
- 4). Select "Install," then "Add," and locate the downloaded file on your desktop. Click "Open" and "Done."
- 5). Complete the installation by pressing "HotSync" on the device's cradle. The program will be installed on the phone automatically.
- 1). Click "Application" from the device's home screen. Click the "Menu" option.
- 2). Select "Delete," and "Delete From," located in the drop-down list. Select whether to remove the application from the phone's internal memory or from the storage card.
- 3). Select the program to be deleted, and click "Delete." The program will be uninstalled, leaving more memory for Little John PalmOS.
- 1). Save data in an application currently open on the device. On many Palm applications, you can press the "Save" button on the screen.
- 2). Reset your smart phone by holding down the "Power/End" key. Remove the battery cover and battery. Replace the battery and cover. Set the time and date on the device after the Palm logo appears.
- 3). Reset all other Palm devices by pressing the "Reset" button on the back of the device with a paper clip or the stylus. Set the time and date on the device after the Palm logo appears.
