How to Overclock a Dual Xeon
- 1). Press the F11 key while the PC is powering on to enter the boot menu. Find and enter the "BIOS Feature Setup" option. BIOS is the Basic Input/Output System.
- 2). Locate the "External Bus" section. Change the value found in the field to the next highest setting. Exit the "External Bus" section. The "External Bus" setting changes the CPU's front bus speed.
- 3). Locate the "CPU Core" section. Change the value found in the "Multiplier" field to the next highest setting. Exit the "CPU Core" section and choose the "Exit and Save" option. The "Multiplier" setting changes the frequency multiplier of the front bus. Allow the PC to finish the startup process. After startup is complete, the Xeon dual core processor is overclocked.
