Dove Hunting in Dilley, Texas
- The South Dove-Hunting Zone includes all areas of Dilley east of IH 35. In the South Zone, dove hunters may hunt from September 17th through October 31st and from December 25th through January 18th, as of the 2010 through 2011 hunting season. Dilley dove hunters in the South Zone may retain 15 doves per day, per hunter, and a total of 30 doves per season.
- For all other areas of Dilley, regulations are mandated by the Special White-Winged Dove Area, which is only open on September 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th of each year. The bag and per-season limits are the same as the South Zone, with the exception of white-tipped and mourning doves, which are limited to two and four each per day respectively.
- To hunt for doves in Dilley, all hunters must obtain a hunting license. All dove hunters ages 17 or older must additionally obtain a Texas Migratory Game Bird Stamp Endorsement.
