  Pattaya is a city located in the province of Chonburi in southern Thailand. As of the 2007 census estimate, the populaton of Pattaya was approximately 104,000 people. The city is situated on the Gulf of Thailand, approximately 80 miles from Bangkok, and is a popular beach resort destination known for its white-sand beaches, diving and active nightlife.
