How to Curve an Image in GIMP

    • 1). Launch GIMP.

    • 2). Click "File" at the top of the window, and then click "Open."

    • 3). Browse to the image that you want to curve, and then double-click it to open it in GIMP.

    • 4). Click "Filters" at the top of the window.

    • 5). Hover over the "Distorts" option to expand the menu of available choices, and then click the "Curve Bend" option.

    • 6). Drag the horizontal line in the "Modify Curves" section of the "Curve Bend" window to specify the curve that you want to apply to the image. You can click the "Upper" or "Lower" option in the "Curve for Border" section to toggle between these parts of the image border to which the curve will be applied.

    • 7). Click the "Preview Once" button at the left side of the window to see how the applied curve will look. Make additional adjustments to the curve until you are happy with the results in the preview section. Note that you will need to click the "Preview Once" button after making further adjustments to see how those adjustments affect the image.

    • 8). Click "OK" at the bottom of the window to apply your curve to the image.
